How I tore my awesome cool leg

A comic by Doc Pop drawn in pink and blue ink. It shows Doc climbing up a corner with one leg twisted with the knee pointing down in a precarious position. As Doc tries stepping up on this climb there's a loud "pop" sound from his knee. Text says "In 2022 I was stemming up a corner. I rotated my hip and lowered my knee to increase my reach. Climbers call this a drop knee. Pop! I'll never forget that pop sound. I knew what had happened before I felt the pain. I'm sure everyone else in the gym heard it too. I had torn my ACL. It took a year to recover. Even now, I still hesitate everytime I'm in a drop knee position."

Made a gussied up version of a strawberry shortcake dessert for a friend's grilling picnic party. Used diplomat cream instead of whipped cream, and ladyfingers instead of pound cake. This may or may not have been because I had a leftover pack of ladyfingers from when I made tiramisu.

Arranging ladyfingers and strawberries and diplomat cream into the dessert

The final dessert, demolded and ready to serve! It is a round cake shape, like from a traditional spring form pan, with sliced strawberries arranged all along the top and sides, with the diplomat cream showing through the gaps and filling in to make a uniform texture on the top and sides.
