The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has designated the Russian financial company A7 as a transnational criminal organization and imposed economic sanctions against it. According to the US Treasury, the company helped circumvent Western restrictions imposed after the Russian invasion of Ukraine
