So, uh, job search update: About a month ago now, I pleaded on mastodon for help. I didn’t really have a goal in mind. I was just miserable at work, not getting paid enough to do too much work. I posted a big long, rambling post that ended with, effectively, “will someone please help me” A […]

I am forced to labor in an "open office" and everyone here is setting off my #misophonia today. I want to scream and throw things or curl into a ball under my desk and cry. I hate this so much. I wish my brain were not wired this way.

@KrissyKat I used to work at the Indianapolis fedex hub and can confirm, animals don't come through there very often, but it does happen.

HONORABLE MENTIONS (I have had this at the table but not enough to justify the money I've spent on the game line): - Alien - Savage Flash Gordon - FFG Star Wars - Wildsea

@tezrak.bsky.social I'm not super interested in removing the battle rules, but I might tweak your take just a touch: Success with Fear = 1hp Success with Hope = 2hp Crit or Teamup = 3hp I wouldn't want to do this on the regular as it minimizes big-threshold folks like Guardians or boss-level […]

Have you ever run a murder mystery in your campaign? How did it turn out? #ttrpg #dnd #rpg #meme

A three-panel meme contrasting different character types solving murders:

- Top panel: 'Rogues solving murders:' shows cartoon detectives with magnifying glasses.

- Middle panel: 'Clerics solving murders:' shows a fantasy cleric casting a spell with a speech bubble: 'Welcome back! Who killed ya?'

- Bottom panel: My players solving murders: shows Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars saying, 'Well, of course I know him. He's me.'

@todd I recently ran a Daggerheart game where, to gain entrance to a fey court, the group had to go get an approval letter from the fungoid assistant to the main Court legal writer. You know, the Lichen Sub-Scribe.

Who wants to fuck with Elon Musk?

Nine years ago, 150,000 people paid Cards Against Humanity $15 to protect a pristine parcel of land on the US-Mexico border from racist billionaire Donald Trump's stupid wall.

Two years ago, we discovered that an even richer, more racist billionaire—Elon Musk—snuck up on us from behind and completely fucked that land with gravel, tractors, and space garbage.

Two photos: One is pristine land. The other is "Land fucked by Musk"
