It blows my mind how much AI invents code bad code, and how little folks are talking abou that. Especially at the leadership level. I asked for a simple migration from React to Angular on a small package, and it madeup every single endpoint and presented it as correct even even after correction.

CSS is DOOMed! I've build DOOM in CSS and every wall, floor, barrel, and imp is a div, positioned in 3D space using CSS transforms. cssdoom.wtf Try it out! But... not every browser can handle it. This is taking the browser to its limit. Chrome has some issues. Safari too. Bugs will be filed.

AppleTV has to be about one of the worst UXs they have made. Between this and the total failure that is Liquid Glass, Apple continues to prove that they have lost their focus on what set them apart, the customer experience. I have to wonder if they even user tested these choices. Blows my mind.

The move from Home Assistant to Gemini has essentially broken the use case I want from it most, controlling home devices. Ask it to turn a light off and what would have been instant now takes a minute+ and prob burned down a forest to accomplish.

Anyone who has had to suffer through AI chatbots for customer support can tell you 1000% that AI is not replacing anyone. My fear is how bad the market is gonna crash from all these AI enablers. AI does something much like blockchain, and the fact that we are hanging our economy on it is a disaster.

My favorite part about Republicans is how much they hate voting. They are deeply aware that being a Nazi is unpopular so it's easier to attack voting (Nazi position) and so it has become part of their engrained behavior. I was and am really proud of my physique when I turned 40. I am however realizing that was a lot of hard work out of the privilege of wfh. Now that I commute 3 hours a day I am firmly entering my dad bod era. Hopefully my wife appreciates the six pack that only shows up when I suck my gut in.
