The impact of Emergency! is amazing. I don't think many people today realize the widespread effect it had at the time.

When the show premiered, there were 12 paramedic units in all of North America. In the next three years, 46 states enacted laws that allowed paramedics to practice emergency medicine. Within 10 years, more than half of all Americans were within 10 minutes of a paramedic rescue or ambulance unit.

Experts say that growth simply would not have occurred without Emergency!

Went by a farmer’s market and my goodness the wasps were everywhere. The fruit samples were a wasp playground and the pastry stand had a bun on display that seemed to be the new wasp hotspot, there were over a dozen just sitting there enjoying themselves

So annoyed at the halftime show, I posted on hellsite, so the CFL could see my comments. Got me a half dozen comments being called woke, to get bent, etc. I also got ‘I heard you were a Nazi sympathizer’ and then blocked. First time in almost 2 years & a quick reminder of why I don’t use twitter

According to unnamed sources*, the CFL board has unanimously agreed to probationary admit a further 8 cities into the league. This is provided that they too build a CFL stadium. Also the boarded unanimously announced they all want ponies. *me, I’m the unnamed source who made it up.
