Recommending Chanel Miller’s incredible memoir Know My Name about when she was raped at Stanford and how much the system there tried to blame her and avoid consequences, like Cornell. It’s a very powerful book.

Sep 18, 1932: Pilots James Herman Banning and Thomas Cox Allen flew out of Los Angeles and headed for the East Coast. When they landed in New York on Oct 9, 1932, they became the first Black pilots to complete a transcontinental flight. airandspace.si.edu/stories/edit... #aviationhistory
