On meeting the anesthesiologist for my procedure I proceeded to tell them medical stuff I learnt from @drlindseyfitz.bsky.social books and then promptly told them to go read butchering arts

Sibling posted on the site that shan’t be named and the response is scary. If anyone thinks that site isn’t as bad as we think, they are wrong and it is worse.

WTF?? #cfl . Look I know you have issues booking #canadian bands for the #greycup but where is the line?? Because I want to know why you are allowing a MAGA, racist and transphobic country music star to play at a Canadian sporting event?? DO BETTER!! #sports #canada

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I keep forgetting how good @scalzi.com #books are! Sorry, I will try to do better If you have a chance to pick up starter villain, Do IT! It is a fun #read or #audiobook or however you devour your #book But be warned, the book will takeover your day & you might look at your cat differently

All the #books read so far this month have been m’eh. Anyone have a good #book recommendation?

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

My #book #reading issue is once I have read about twenty pages i can’t DNF it and have to finish it. Even if the book is long, boring and not enjoyable (to me) The brain is a marvelous place isn’t it?

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Wow, this is a kind of cool video about the restoration of the parliament building in Ottawa

011

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Why is it with #libby holds, the #books becoming available, it is either no #book ready for you to check out or ALL your books available NOW? I just want it spaced out, so I can enjoy one book at a time. Excuse me, I have to go three books need to be #read quickly before they get returned.

060

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

I forgot to put @mpmthewriter.bsky.social next #book in the Tits Rosie’s kitchen mystery on hold on my #libby , it will be a LONG four weeks till it comes available. If you want a fun mystery to read, check out the series but WARNING it will make you hungry and wanting to try filipino #food

Dodge juggling is a sport… you have a juggler and the team tried to block the dodge balls and others on the team try to throw balls to knock jugglers club down. You loss if you jugglers club touch the ground. I am not making this up , watching on tubi tsn ocho

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

How you enjoy a #book shouldn’t matter ! Anyone who says how you read #stories matter and that you need a physical book to truly appreciate it because of the cover art, weight of the paper and actually turning the pages. They are WRONG! What matter is you enjoy the book! End of story.

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

So strange that the #Paralympic opening ceremony is being held somewhere that most athletes can’t access, while the ceremony is about accessibility. (Also unlike the opening this ceremony is being held no where near the events )

010

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

Hey #books people, have you ever read a #book where the writing is Captivating, the characters are interesting but the story itself is predictable and doesn’t live up to the other aspects of the book?

000

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

I guess #CBC is making up for all the commercials they did not play during the events … yeah, I did not want to watch the closing ceremony of the #Olympics . I rather watch two seconds of it before the next five same commercials #sarcasm (I am still grateful for the cbc gem to be able to watch )

Up early to watch ski mountaineering at the #Olympics , while I don’t understand the race and it reminds me of a marble run, I do like that NOT littering is part of the #sport

000

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

Sign I might have an issue with my #Olympics addiction, I am setting an alarm so I can get up to watch #speedskating at 5am! Go #sport ! I know NOTHING about except the #cbc announcer describing it as knifes on feet. I LOVE that announcer!

010

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 07/02/2026

Yippie!! Canada got bronze in 3000 m speed skating (V.Maltais) !! And the great niece of Gina Lollobrigida got gold for Italy! #Olympics

020

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

Have you ever been torn when #reading a #book between wanting to #read slowly to savor the #story and wanting to speed read so you can find out how the characters come out in the end?? I am having that problem with @nicole-glover.com book the starseekers

030

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Both science fiction #books I have signed out from the #library lately (thanks Libby) have been a quick DNF, I don’t know if it turns out I don’t like #reading #scifi or I don’t like books that make you feel like you missed a bunch of chapters or maybe I just need some good #book recommendations?

040

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Every boardgame on BGA, I get a choice of either read the instructions or just click things and see what happens. I ALWAYS choice to just click things , i might lose so many games that way but why not always choice chaos?

020

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

Dear #Libby from the #toronto #library , Quick question ,Why the FRACK! do you have all the books of a series EXCEPT the fourth one? I mean you have it as an audio book, so you COULD have access to the book. Thanks #booklover Maybe, I have a #book issue, when do I talk to about joining #booktalk ?

020

Eva Little @ybnormal.bsky.social · 28/12/2025
