loveable by design; geek by choice I'm a big proponent of Scottish Independence. There will be occasional political rants. But mostly I'm just using this account to keep up with friends and family. #YouYesYet? #indyref #indyscot
![A screenshot of an email reply to Michael Shanks, MP for Rutherglen.
Email reads:
Hey, Michael,
Is "SNP BAD" all you guys can think to say? Why does Scotland, which generates a surplus of energy, have some of the highest prices in the UK?
"There is much more to do to bring down bills [...]"
Then do it. "Energy caps" haven't really capped anything, and my bills continue to rise. Remove or cap the standing charges. Reduce energy bills to the levels they were at before the huge surge during Covid.
I won’t be signing up to the Believe in Scotland campaign

Russell Findlay has QRTed it with the words, "This is what happens when the SNP's toxic nationalism infects schools and councils. [finger pointing down emoji] Our country's flag [Union Flag emoji] is NOT "offensive or sectarian".](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:kjqr5go5r2x6sj37gwxlhudv/bafkreidkn377mtud7gtoqzdgtiixylaxqudrj5y4lq4brnpnhhn2qi7sly)
