Then do it. "Energy caps" haven't really capped anything, and my bills continue to rise. Remove or cap the standing charges. Reduce energy bills to the levels they were at before the huge surge during Covid.

Former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that a ‘50 plus one’ threshold in a border poll is ‘enough’ for reunification - that a majority is a majority. Varadkar is right, so let's not indulge the nonsense peddled by some that Scotland requires 55/65% for Independence.

This was a problem on the Glasgow commuter trains, too, when I was going to college. I had my walking stick, and people who were non-visibly disabled (probably perfectly able-bodied) were sitting in the "please give these seats up for pregnant people, the elderly, or the disabled" seats.
