Where I live 1 guy got an outdoor fireplace, and everyone was impressed, and then one by one the other guys in town started getting them too. At first it wasn't a problem but then one guy got a larger one and everyone wanted to go over there. So the next thing you know different guys are getting a larger and larger outdoor fireplace. Finally a guy no one liked (Greg) got a very giant one that you could stand inside. And he kept burning a ton of wood and saying "Hot time" and "It's getting warm in here" and sending everyone photos of his yard. I don't know how much wood he burned. Probably a bunch but then after he sent a lot of the photos someone said "Stop heating up the outdoors it's climate change" and everyone agreed, and then 1 guy put a ton of ice cubes in his own fireplace and when people typed the ice cube emoji and said "Now that's cool" the fireplace trend was over. Greg tried to say it wasn't actually because of the trend but it was because he was trapping Santa, and a regular fireplace wouldn't work because we all know Santa has a large waist. No one believed him
