Like I honestly don't think there was any good answer here, they wanted to do eight routes so it was either: Remove half and have those be dlc later after everyone fully plays the game once Release all at once and make the act 1 experience beyond miserable since you are expected to play them all.

Unfortunately this canto is retroactively losing points because it's bringing back Ayin hero worship discourse. It actually clicked for me just now that the reason the TRUST THE PLAN stuff annoys me with Melia in pokemon rejuvenation is that it sounds exactly like the way people talk about Ayin.

The second I switched to sinking I had a rougher first phase but then could pretty comfortably do phase 2. Probably helped that i lost once and then slept on it cause my body can't handle doing these canto finales in one sitting anymore lol

Also that second boss is really funny, on one hand I get the difficulty complaint, but also this boss kind of mogs the HoS/Tremor Scorch team which i imagine mostly everyone is running And had the experience i did when you get to phase 2 and realize you have no backline to draw out the encounter
