At this point in my life, I long since gave up on first person shooters, I was rubbish at them when younger, but lack the reaction speeds completely now. But inexplicably I am good at PUBG mobile…I suspect that the controls are SO awful, it’s hard to be skilled just on reaction speeds…

What I mean is that they have been a follower for quite a while and I’ve seen their replies on various topics. In the same way I would be surprised if you meant somthing like that.

I would be very surprised if the answered meant that, they’re not one for ideological lunacy.

I took it as a track record of being pro Palestinian rights and anti genocide, not pro that attack.

Reread things you’ve said, you’ve not withheld judgment or accusation. You have made two particularly heinous and nonsensical accusations that of libel, and of conflating anti-Israel with anti semisitism. If you want somones effort, don’t make such false accusations in the future.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
No, not anymore. I don’t know how to phrase the points more clearly and you still make ridiculous accusations and claims. I don’t have the enthusiasm to try paraphrasing the points again.

If only you understood those meanings…

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
I assumed dishonesty because I assumed your failures to engage were intentional. The alternative is a that you lack the reading comprehension. It’s one or the other, only you know which, if you have the humility to admit it 🤷

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Oh, and you should stop using terminology you don’t understand, like strawman and libel. Self reflection and some humility would benefit you

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
If you sincerely tried, then you are seriously lacking in capability. I hope you learn, and stop with these ignorant and childish accusations.

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Thus my point that you’re not reading properly or honestly But muting this now, talking near you is unproductive, you refuse to hear why those who oppose the genocide raise serious concerns

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
It’s hilarious that you think you did, when I specifically pointed out how you didn’t. Good bye, do better
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Yes, you are, because you cannot engage with what is actually said. The crux of the points. You ignore at will to insist on your opinion
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
As already explained, because those are not doing what you claim. You’re just making false claims about the topic and me, so I am done with your dishonest engagement.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
I have made it extremely clear that I value the difference between anti semitism and anti Zionism. Do you even bother to think about what you read?
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
There you go, asserting a claim that couldn’t be further from true about me, as I have already demonstrated in my previous points This is intellectual dishonesty again.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
It’s just very badly written, or intentionally antisemitic. And it seems pretty clear, that it’s the latter.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
This SHOULD be read deeply, because the intent seems pretty clear to almost everyone that it is being antiseptic, while pretending to be only anti Zionist. And opportuntities to clarify are explicitly rejected - reinforcing the perceptions of the intent. And intent is vital, in determining if

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
No, you responded to the opening sentence, not the point where I use the word “superfluous” which took that quoted reply in context.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Yes, but that would be a tangent from the crux of my point. So I choose not too. Please engage with the crux, not the opening sentence.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Yes, it’s rife throughout it, there is a failure to clearly draw a distinction. You may consider it superfluous to clarify there is no unfair standard, to state it clearly. But it’s not, if that’s the intent. Rejecting it displays the opposite intent.

Emotionally rather than rationally, getting upset and defensive. Further heightening their emotional investment in their ignorance. We see it in a plethora of topics in current social discourse. With the malicious few playing on emotions to ensure reason is not considered.
110
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
They hold those views because they have justified them in their head. It’s why I consider all types of bigotry to be a secondary symptom of ignorance, often combined with an arrogance to not learn. Then when challenged instead of questioning their views, they see it as a personal attack so react

I come from a similar perspective; from therapy for me, I think a lot about thinking, the different ways people do it. Also a lot of exposure to the interface of politics and public policy I think the key thing is that almost everyone, even the worst ppl, think they are being reasonable & rational

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
The entire thing manages to be antisemetic in a number of ways, including by intentionally failing to distinguish the difference between anti-Zionist from anti-Semitic. This amendment would’ve at least partially drawn that distinction, refusing it chooses to intentionally conflate AZ with AS.
100
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
That’s what I meant when I told you to read more carefully. You’ve omitted it because you didn’t understand it It’s making sure that people are not subjected to hostile purity tests for tangential associations, and specifying that they’re not being held to an unfair standard by association of faith
210
Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Notice how despite quoting you edited it including through omission? That’s called dishonesty.

Completely agree, Hanlons Razor applied with Occams is good in this instance, where sometimes 'idiocy' is not a simple option with those at the core of an issue.

Tomato Soup @souptomatosoup.uk · 05/10/2026
Hanlons Razor USUALLY applies in politics, but there are always instigators who do the 'USA legislative title' scam. Where the headline sounds...passable, hiding insanity inside.

It seems such a weirdly dumb move, unless they are legitimately antisemitic. There has been so much effort over the last couple of years especailly to draw the distrinctions between anti-Israel/Anti-zionism and antisemitism, this is a massive statement to reconflate them

I have been out of the loop on this Green Party issue. Can I check, is the issue here a claim that all anti-zionism is anti-semitism, or is it that the Green Party 'thing' is so badly written (through intent or accident) as to aim at AZ but be AS?

I was working in the Treasury on this when we first funded the housing first pilots - its one of the few good things Theresa May did. Ending Rough Sleeping is far from a simple or cheap issue. By definition the people needing help can be hard to reach.

I do, sort of a “clear your mind by focusing on something really simple” type concept. Can’t honestly say I “get” it, and what that’s meant to do, but it gives me something actionable to try.
