At this point in my life, I long since gave up on first person shooters, I was rubbish at them when younger, but lack the reaction speeds completely now. But inexplicably I am good at PUBG mobile…I suspect that the controls are SO awful, it’s hard to be skilled just on reaction speeds…

I understand that as a neurodiverse person, who is very literal. I will often be misunderstood as people assume inferences I did not intend. But how does the same thing not drive neurotypical people absolutely insane? Or is it somehow just not a problem to be misunderstood incessantly?

I challenged someone’s for supporting Rupert Lowes call for politicial violence. I said they had been radicalised if they can’t see that politicial violence is wrong. This was the response to me saying “you are delusional and need to seek help for deradicalisation”:
no its you who is completely
removed from reality. You are deluded, and obviously have psychopathic tendencies. You are an extreme narcissist. You are the one who desperately needs help. The far left are satanic warmongers who thrive off people suffering.
The far left love war, hate our country and people, and are trying to bring civil war onto our streets. The right just want peace and safety in our own country. A country us and our ancestors built, fought and died for over centuries. Who was behind the globalist Socialist German National Socialist Workers Party? The Ashkenazi's such as Rothchild's, Rockefeller's etc. George Soros assisted the Nazi's. They also control and finance all far left movements, organisations and unions. The far left are, and always have been the true fascist Nazi's. The right see people good or bad regardless of race or skin colour. The far left are totally obsessed with race and skin colour, causing divisions and anti white racism. We follow truth and truthful history as it actually happened. The far left follow rewritten history completely removed from what actually happened. That's fact you fascist Nazi scum.

In the case of most “celebrities” you would be right, but Jolie is perhaps the most anomalous, she has legitimately done a huge amount in advocating for, and amplifying the voices of people in need. She has used her ‘status’ to do quite a lot of good. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelin...

I have another chart is you prefer, but its a bit less easy to read in my opinion, though it shows the same point. That the Changes in the early 80s strangled off non-private house building. And despite some improvements later in that decade, and from '07 to '12, this diminished role remains.,

Some of us have been harping on about it for years. But the systemic failures in the housing market are one of the main reasons politicians scapegoat immigration, instead of admitting domestic policy failure. My personal favorite chart showing this:

Suicidal ideation is a huge factor of it for me, and it is impossible to express to those who have not experienced it how much it can occupy your mind. I struggle with this, but am safe Please reach out to those you care about, the struggle is invisible, and a small act can save them. #depression

When I was in middle school, I learned there were only 2 genders
When I did my bachelors in Biology, I learned that there are also people who are intersex and the importance of the SRY gene.
When I completed my Masters in Neurosciences, I learned that sex is already hard to define, and gender is both social and in the brain, and that everything is a lot more complex.
When people say "it's basic biology" they are telling you they haven't moved past middle school

irst Past the Post (FPTP) distorts the inputs and outcomes of elections. Not only do most votes get ignored, but most voters are forced to "vote tactically" rather than for who they actually want. We need #ElectoralReform.
A table that shows the outcome of the 2024 UK general election, for each party it includes their % vote share, The seats based on that % of the 650 available in the house of Commons, the seats they actually won under first past the post, and the difference between the two figures as a plus or minus.

There is too much data to reproduce in alt text, but any user that would like is proactivly invited to message me and I will supply the excel spreadsheet and or explain all of the data shown.

The headline is that Labour got 193 more seats than their vote share would grant, Conservative got 33 less, Lib dem and SNP both got 7 less, Sinn Fein got 2 more, Independents who won seats got enough votes for 13 but only 6 seats (so 7 less). Reform UK got 88 less and Green got 40 less.

Please do not hesitate to contact ‪@souptomatosoup.uk‬ if you want more information than what is offered in the alt text.

Possibly, but I am a solid believer in Hanlons Razor - its the closest I get to being religious, my faith in this. More likely they are lost in the weeds on the topic, and driven by emotion rather than reason.

Bigotry is mainstream
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

They supported a fascist, and are now surprised when they are in danger.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out
—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for

It's not an irrational reaction to just try and look after those in your life and try to survive But it leaves many who lack such privilege without anyone defending them.
the poem"First they came" by Martin Niemoller, a German Lutheran pastor who survived WW2.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

A 4 panel “meme”

The first panel is of the bishop that told Trump to have mercy on migrants, and has been vilified by Trump and his supporters for saying so.

Second, third, and fourth panels are scenes from the show “ good omens” where they say:

Panel two, Crowley: what was it she said that got everyone so upset?

Panel three, aziraphel: “be kind to each other”

Panel four, Crowley: that’ll do it

Its a chart I have had saved for a very long time, perhaps nearing a decade. While new builds have continued to increase since 2014, we are essentially back to stabilising at pre-2008 levels. The systemic issue caused by thatcher of destroying the social house-building sector remains
