The most renowned of vampire hunters. Simon Belmont from the Castlevania series, made on stream for the Night of the Hunt! #pixelart #ドット絵 #fanart #art #castlevania #castlevania40th #konami

16 bit pixel art half-body portrait of a large-framed fair-skinned man with long blonde hair and sharp blue eyes. He's wearing ornate leather armor and
metal bangles, evoking the appearance of a barbarian. He is posed with a slight hunch and both fists raised. The art depicts the classic incarnation of Simon Belmont from the Castlevania franchise.

Sitting in the studio unexpectedly crying now, because out of nowhere the project director for Re:Zero stops by to grab their lunch, but takes a moment specifically to tell me that each time they quality-review the mix for an episode they go “thank GOD Sean is Subaru”. I’m so ridiculously grateful.

The situation with FurAffinity is pretty amazing. Advertisers threatened their advertising revenue because they considered Plus Sized characters and characters HUGGING to be adult content. So FA said fuck off, and in two days raised their entire yearly funding. Advertisers are so bullshit stupid.

this part about what's considered "adult" was enlightening. i was wondering why I could post nudity on tumblr without issue UNTIL I drew a fat woman, then suddenly it got auto flagged as mature. so fat people are now "adult." just great.

To be fair, I don't know shoe sizes either, nor do I want to bother. It's bizarrely inconsistent in gender and country. I'm surprised there's no metric system equivalent where there's a universal shoe size... so until then, I'm better off going by inches/centimeters :P

I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:

Screenshot of a Tweet from Pope Leo XIV. It reads:

"In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgen to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity."

TLDR: Fur Affinity's advertising partners are demanding that they ban adult content. Sciggles and FA want to firmly tell them to go fuck themselves. If they're going to be able to afford to do that, they need the community's help. Pitch in. Keep furry weird. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...
