Working on neighbor kid's Halloween dress

I had seen some of that stuff that pre-dated Tik Tok and it's heartbreaking. Every time I do something to get just one more use out of something, etc. - I feel stupid. Because people with more will always get more, and I'll just struggle with smaller and smaller crumbs

I've decided I'm uniquely positioned to regularly post these and I bought the domain cannabisrecall.com and i'm going to start ,.. regularly posting them. I've made the data set about US recalls public monthly, but i'm committed to getting people the info they need about their medicine. More soon.

Still not even technically a recall, but a "Health Safety Advisory"

Thank you for amplifying, this case is absolutely horrific to me and I've tried to be low profile about my work in this area but I think it's time to come out and just start doing what I'm mad that these states don't. . . Didn't even supply a picture. Didn't even perform a recall for six weeks!

SomewhatCyclops @somewhatcyclops.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

This is worst case, in every way. the state knew this for weeks and sat on it, and I can even demonstrate the state knew this was a company to watch as there had been prior recalls / incidents. In this case, crazy enough, the producer tried to do the right thing. The state waited.

I am so disappointed in the fact that Colorado, whose recall program I used to admire, dropped the ball on this. I maintain a living list of cannabis recalls to see if I can make any data sense out of them, and I might start regularly posting them, too.

I am a flower child myself, and I maintain recall data and I think this might be when I start regularly blasting when recalls happen. Someone has to look out for us stoners - the state does not care.

As a medical patient it's crazy to me that docs will recommend a vape over smoking flower. Smoking is harmful, yes, but I don't think people understand how extracts are made. I've been compiling stats about US Cannabis Recalls (why, etc.) and this is huge mis-handling from the state.

This is not only incredibly beautiful work but inspirational to boot. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, and making me dream of quilting....

Amazing! She was such a master at it. Whle i know Ulysses is strongly revered, of the two novels I think of with stream of consciousness style comparing threads of experience in a single day - Mrs. Dalloway always wins for me. I suspect fierce editing made her prose so memorable and cozy feeling.

Oooooooooh such a great -- you're going to love it :) Her language has a texture and a way of unfolding what it is focused on that is addictive. I am trying to look at my TBR pile (which also includes what I would have called shameful gaps) as the morsels in life I have yet to relish and love.

Colorado has not released product pictures of the Craft (StayCon) cannabis product being recalled, but has admitted that there are already adverse events being caused. THIS IS THE PRODUCT PLEASE CHECK THE RECALL. drive.google.com/file/d/1Aw1V... #cannabis #cannabissafety

Amazing opening line. Woolf was a master. II was studying this story in college when 'The Hours' movie came out, and what a treat that was, to have something so powerful celebrate the very thing I was studying. I should reread it. Thank you for reminding me that ... i should pick up the book myself.

QRP with your most popular piece on bsky ~ Gotta be this one. It was also my most popular on the birdsite. Also my most popular on Tumblr (I don't even have a Tumblr). It's nearly thirty years old. Sometimes I feel like a one-hit wonder.

An oil painting of a witch floating in a sitting position within a magic circle, typing on a computer. A black cat bats at the floating computer mouse.

For those interested in my work in #cannabissafety at all, I have started to regularly update the #cannabis recall data set for the US (by the 10th of every month) on my github and Tableau public dashboards. I put the data in the public domain so anyone can use it. github.com/somewhatcycl...

Moving again - back to Pittsburgh. If you know of any non-evil landlords who need a good tenant with a great husband and sweet cocker spaniel LMK.

A beautiful black and white American cocker spaniel smiling at the camera. Her name is Miss Moira Rose.

I have extremely disrupted sleep and so my sympathy goes to everyone. I had real issues with somnambulism and night terrors as a kid, and now I just have disrupted sleep. I call it that because I have no idea what happens but it's not a lot of sleep.
