In 2009 Labour ended up with their lowest count of 4446 local councillors. This year Labour have 4630. The previous Conservatives councillor minimum was 4276. This year Conservatives got 3855. ! And Badenoch was joyous ! Has all the Starmer drama been about our right leaning media panicking???

Look at this graph. The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened. This is why we must build back union power.
