We’re thrilled to introduce our upcoming LP for Negative Gain and SOIL Records! DEAD LINES (lineas muertes) drives home the pain and struggle the world has faced in the last years, excoriating our broken systems and the wretched people who run them.

I think as of this moment my top 3 albums of the year are FAETOOTH - LABYRINTHINE, WITCH FEVER - FEVEREATEN, and the RAGANA & DROWSE - ASH SOUVENIR release from today. I’ve enjoyed lots of music this year, so will narrow down a proper list later, but those are peak albums for the vibe I’m owning.

obviously screeching about trans people's genitals at deafening volume on every public platform available to you is hateful, cruel and dangerous but we must always remember the equally important fact that it is also HUGE loser behavior

This isn't a hot take or anything, but one of the biggest and dumbest reasons that there's like literal potential of a fucking civil war is because so many folks refuse to just say "that's not something I know about, I will defer to what professionals or those with relevant experience have to say."

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Just playing around with pedals (an OBNE Dark Star and a Holy island Tides) through my Randall, but I really like this random riff. Dirty & Dirgy is the energy I’m bringing to 2025.

As of this morning, I think I’m officially done with the instrumentation, editing, and sequencing for the entire SØLVE album. I’ll spend the first part of the new year writing and recording lyrics/vocals, but I’m incredibly excited to have reached this goal that I set for 2024.

Remembering the time I released a cover of LORN's ACID RAIN and everyone on youtube thought I mixed it too hot because I chained the entire mix to the kick for that exact effect. Try explaining to these kids that I have a degree in audio engineering so I can make it sound bad if I want to LOL.

Ok so I’m not saying Children of the Corn IV is a good movie, it has lots wrong with it but why is the cast so good? Naomi Watts, Karen Black, William Windon, and Brent Jennings all totally nail their roles. And even the plot avoids basic tropes and the usual failings of the franchise. It’s wild.

Such a good feeling when you finally crack that one stubborn track that has been nothing but problems. Everything finally clicked into place on an album song I've been struggling with for the past week. Now to get deep into the weeds with minutiae mixing and final edits before tracking vocals.

Watched Oddity and would love to get y’all’s take. The production often felt cheap, but it had a lot of really great setups and some legitimately scary moments. The humor and casting gives the whole film a very stylized vibe that you’ll either love or hate. Personally, I totally dug it. Thoughts?

So I just finished up Negative Space by B.R. Yeager and it was incredible. Some possible criticisms about it losing all tethers to realism as it reaches for its conclusion, but In general I loved it and fully enjoyed its locomotive inertia and where that inevitably had to take us. 1/

Finally watched Starve Acre. It was highly recommended to me and I see why, very much my thing. Not particularly difficult or upsetting, just a quiet and eerie film about grief handled beautifully. A film that builds a world around its characters and follows their choices to the furthest ends.

Seeing a lot of new folks on here, so just in case anyone wants to get a feel for my whole thing, this was the “big hit” from my most recent album. The new LP I’m working on pushes the Killing Joke, HEALTH, and Godflesh influences quite a bit more, but I still love playing this one live. Cheers!

Took a break from poorly made horror sequels to watch You Won’t Be Alone and it completely floored me. 10/10 film with incredible writing and performances. Some artsy direction and well hit emotional marks makes it a new favorite. Recommended for those with patience and a love for dry folk horror.

Even when my music was more electronic, I did a lot of writing on guitar because it’s what I’m most familiar with (and the 1st instrument I learned back when I was 13). After rediscovering how much I enjoy playing it, I made a decision to incorporate it more into my music - now it’s the main focus.

The people criticizing bsky for being an echo chamber are the folks who think it’s normal to build an entire ideology and set of biases around one social media network. If your worldview is wholesale through online experiences and polarized encounters, that’s not great either, buddy.
