Seeing the Bill Watterson originals full of pencil lines of stuff that didn’t work, scuffs the eraser didn’t pick up, white out galore and more was something I needed to see to remind myself that nothing is perfect the first go and tweaks need to be made and you’re allowed to try again.

i've felt like this for a while already but still: i'm honestly tired of so many arguments against gen ai imagery using "haha it looks bad" gen ai is still bad because of it's worst parts: pollution, energy overuse, costs, property theft, and robbing people of livelihoods.

my shoulder and back pain got bad enough to also resist my stretching and workouts. then i started slapping on icyhot patches and tiger balm. instant relief from a LOT of those micro knots in my muscles that just werent going away. also epsom salt bath soaks more regularly.

yeah mine were far from perfect but i'm very lucky i went to some large, diverse schools, cause my brothers and i were all pretty punk/punk-leaning (and, natch, neurodiverse) so i would have likely begged to be homeschooled if it was awful enough
