The film is written, directed, and co-stars Hitoshi Ozawa, a legendary Yakuza actor who is a villain in Yakuza 0, who got his fellow legends involved. This was his passion project inspired by one of his best friends, a trans woman, and he worked with the community for representative casting.

oshii GITS might be the most mathematically, efficiently perfect adaptation of a manga ever. gets basically everything in there somehow in an eighth of the length of TGITS, a twentieth of the word count, and a flex-worthy amount of long takes and wordless montages. perfect storytelling

100%!! unless you KNOW the devs are getting residuals i dont think there's a moral argument for buying games over pirating. publishers and platforms don't deserve your money. just support patreons of devs or buy their free tech demo from itchio or send them $100 on kofi
