repost with a picture of your favorite James Bond (wrong answers only)

intensely auraful render of Sam Fisher from Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, erotically grazing his fingers over a glowing green Xbox vent like a fucking xenomorph

very interesting shirow is actually illustrating more by hand.... I was expecting something that looked much more like man machine interface going off of the ancient concept art

the first released concept art for Glitch Witch, featuring many 3d characters with 2d painted faces (shirow's late stage house style)

yeah! they actually say Israel. Russia is even mentioned, even if Shapiro is still "Sapiro." honestly the actors in the latam dub do a pretty good job!!

the absolute range of shirow masamune is crazy. his mid 90's work is so good

Intron Depot 2 - digital paintover of a cat driving on a road at night, with a cgi cyberpunk skyline in the background. the image is processed with impressive digital lens flares

Intron Depot 2 - poster of some crusades thing??? a Knight Templar is having a one on one sword dual with a Saracen while God??? is praising the sun in the background. around them all are similar scenes of third crusade era violence. this could be a cover for like a Stronghold game tbh. the fuckin Ghost in the Shell guy drew this!

Intron Depot 2 - absolutely adorable painting of some little blob things cuddled up next to a plant with a psychedelic sky. my honest reaction to reading thru Intron Depot 2

genuinely kinda shocked my local grocery store is selling resold magic cards on the snack aisle strip clips. is this legal? will wotc sic the pinkertons on them?

blister pack with magic cards inside, saying "LEGENDARY PACK, GUARANTEED LEGENDARY RARE CARD, 4X VALUE, 40 CARDS INSIDE" on the front with MTG cards inside

same pack from the last image's back side, reading "The collectible products in this package have been purchased [something or other] from the manufacturer, or purchased from secondary retailers, relaxed for retail sales by Wayne Global LLC, not affiliated with the original yada yada whatever"

the closest match for her in the other anime is probably Cruzkowa from SAC s1 SA:CAPTIVATED, being a mysterious russian operaative who is far older beyond her looks

especially big on this bit of dialogue later on. no guesses as to what surrounds it

"memes can endure the four Buddhist sufferings of being born, aging, falling ill, and dying. but they're also a new life-form, with continuity."

it's probably closer to the getup she wears in the SAC episode "unequal terrorist". i like to think my vest is like the fighting game player 2 color scheme of this outfit, in Oshii colors

Major Kusanagi from s1e13 of GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX - [SA] Unequal Terrorist / NOT EQUAL. she is standing in front of a red, dark room and wearing a padded beige vest over a black tee.

my last two brain cells trying to reconcile my overwhelming love for INNOCENCE, with a much sharper and more enjoyable *concise* look into the Batou/Togusa dynamic

lrt— big fan of the GITS kevlar vests. the movie has them too but i love the clamshell opening and closing with the Velcro tabs on the top. such a cool look. loved plagiarizing it for the BOLD mercs

cel from 1995 GHOST IN THE SHELL (art by hiroyuki okiura) showing Major Kusanagi reloading her weird ass banana mag P90. she's wearing the white vest her and togusa have for the garbage truck sequence, from which this cel was taken.

productive day for work on @boldgame.online,,, weapon spread as a system is now implemented. previously the assault rifle was a perfect laser. now it is only a perfect laser on the first shot, with proper spread and bloom after. vfx work by @rosanthwyn.online with impact fx, muzzle flashes & tracers

THE GHOST IN THE SHELL season 1 episode one "PROLOGUE + SUPER SPARTAN" ruled. amazing adaptation that does a better than expected job balancing the GITS-isms with the prominent camp and humor. the dub cast did admirably! hard not to miss William Knight as Aramaki tho. ty Yoji Shinkawa for this food

art screen from the end of THE GHOST IN THE SHELL SEASON 1 EPISODE 1, as illustrated by Yoji Shinkawa. Major Kusanagi dominates the right frame in a close up, while Batou and his Fuchikoma sprint towards the viewer and dodging gunfire.

i do this w/ faces in BOLD and it's so important for cel shaded characters and keeping visual noise down.

before: more bands as a result of perfectly straight face normals

after: fewer bands, cleaner transitions between lighting zones, thanks to the slightly queer face normals
