I'm somewhat regretting the fact that Beast Caine has no need for pants and doesn't wear them.

Beauty and the Beast AU where Caine is the beast. The top art is him posing menacingly in the doorway, referencing the Beast's first story appearance past the prologue. His eyes are flashing red and blue, and his cape is flowing around him. His broken heart pulses and glows in the low light.

Bottom artwork is Beast Caine after a battle in which he protected Pomni from, licking his wounds in a very animalistic way. Pomni isn't really amused.

There is text that reads: "As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?" emphasizing the themes of this fairytale.

Caine as a beast is almost the same as his canon design, though he's larger, angrier, and has more animal-like traits. His body without clothes is smooth yet jagged on the edges to resemble fur that prickles up like hackles. He has a tail that ends like a sparkler. His arms end with large claws, barely hidden when he wears gloves, and his legs end with ungulate hooves. His body is dark and semi transparent, where you can see his rig bones and his broken heart.

As a prince, he wears a tattered reddish black cape with an amulet that resembles Bubble, a dark red-brown vest, and puffy pirate blouse idk what you call it lol fuck you.

He has two enchanted items: a mirror that lets him see the outside world (lol) and a single blue rose that loses petals, representing something akin to the blue construct he killed out of jealousy and abandonment. The Moon is found crying tears as he sulks over the rose, hinting that the Moon might have been part of cursing him with his affliction as The Echantress.

Lastly, we get a glimpse of Pomni, who is supposed to be Belle. And much like her canon self, she ventures into an unknown and mystical world with more than she bargained for. However, she might be the key to turn this story from one of tragedy to one of happiness.
