I do love a slow burn with late confessions but one of my favourite things about parsigale is that they're both immediately interested + open about that, but can't proceed at all because of the orb. So gale has to just sit there chastely all act 1 while parsipan finds other people to play with

Thinking about the AU where Gale left his tower earlier and went through bg while searching for an orb cure and instead got captured by bhaalists and trapped in the temple at Parsipan's mercy. And Parsipan eventually lets him go and that's the inciting incident for Orin's mutiny

Parsipan doesn't like to think about this sort of thing too hard. He intentionally doesn't dwell on it because it makes him feel bad He thinks he's inseparable from Bhaal, so what's Bhaal's is his, so he'd assert yes The first time he has to face that it might be a no, he has a serious breakdown
