Being LPotL fans, I was discussing this with the wife yesterday and we were wondering how/what they got wrong? Generally Marcus relies on 1-3 sources for the research, and I can understand them picking the wrong books that look right from a layman's perspective. What might you recommend instead?

this is clickbait garbage a) it wasn't ~dronez~ stuff, it was the same vanilla GPS jamming that has occurred at WSMR for decades b) a crew should *absolutely* be capable of conducting a nonprecision approach to an ILS, *ESPECIALLY* if there's a NOTAM out for PNT jamming

I think a key point is that your table/ group may have rich, exciting and powerful stories with dnd, but the product of dnd has been incoherently corporate for a while now.

The GOP entered this redistricting under the rather childish delusion they were going to gerrymander, and nobody would gerrymander them. In TX, MO, and a half dozen other states, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind

I think a great platform for a 28’ presidential race, is to take each line item of Project 2025 and not only reverse it but strengthen it. Oh cuts to education and weather services? Nope we bring those back and double their budget! Oh tax cuts to the wealthy? We’re gonna tax their asses off!

It's impossible to convey to people in a liberal bubble just how much disinfo boomers are getting until you live with your parents & hear your mom drop "I saw a thing" & describing something about Trump/econ/history that immediately rings "That's absolutely not true" alarm bells every other day.

I do find myself wondering whether the term "fast faith," like fast food or fast fashion, actually rather nicely captures a strain of contemporary American religion that is theologically impoverished, but rich in cultural politics and lifestyle identification.

I haven't done my homework on the period, but perhaps "relegated (insert unit/descriptor term here)" might work better in being less clunky and making sense to some sports fans (at least Euros are familiar with relegation). Conveys some sense of lesser than, and isn't slamming suffixes together.
