I love this so much. "Play the game exactly how you need to." I have often had to tap out of an action/RPG narrative game and read the rest of the plot online because I couldn't get past some of the encounters. So being able to experience the entire story in-game is always amazing.

From Remedy's page about Accessibility Settings in CONTROL Resonant.

The Intended Experience.

We talk a lot internally about designer intent. We do have a meticulously crafted, intended experience for CONTROL Resonant. It's balanced to be tense, demanding, and rewarding.

However, our philosophy is straightforward: if you run into a wall and the friction becomes too much, we would much rather you tweak the rules to overcome it than put the controller down and stop playing. Your time is valuable, and there’s no single right way to experience the game. Because of that, we absolutely do not gate any trophies or achievements behind these settings. Play the game exactly how you need to.

Sony argued that "reasonable consumers" already know they don't really own the digital goods they paid for. The Consumer Rights wiki has now made a list collecting more than 30 examples where Sony told customers they do, in fact, own the digital games they paid for. bit.ly/4gNi4Ls

PlayStation killing discs and consumer options Xbox butchering their devs and going balls deep in AI Nintendo continues to be the walking notion of human greed It's clear now more than ever PC gaming is the only semi reliable and real avenue for gamers that value their money, time, privacy, etc.

One way you can show Microsoft your concern is here through the XBOX Player Voice feedback platform: feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/ide...

Yesterday’s layoffs at Bethesda Games Studios were not a cut of “14 layers of management”. We lost dozens of programmers, artists, designers and testers. Many of whom worked at BGS for decades.

If Bethesda fans are worried this will harm the quality of our future games, like TES VI, let Microsoft know!
