Faoliia is the goddess of healing in Shadecursed. She's often represented by a rainbow serpent, but may also be represented by a unicorn. Her color is blood red. In order to activate her magic, one must sacrifice some of their life to the earth. (Generally achieved with blood.)

A red snake with a yellow belly. It has a rainbow crest and rainbow primaries on large, feathered wings. Its eyes are green and it has a few sparkly red scales on its body. It has purple eyeliner and a purple tongue.

Regulations were written in blood. The reason so many people died is because they were locked inside and unable to leave. Why? To keep them there to make sure they worked. When anyone tells me unions are bad and harmful, I point them to this. Unions literally prevent this.

I remember Brian May was talking about how gentle European badgers were on the radio one time, so I drew him with an American badger. I imagine it really would have gone something like this.

This is a bat theric! Her name is Grey! I always have trouble deciding how to dress a character whose wings get in the way. This isn't perfect, but the alternative is piercing the wings. I mean, she's already got a few piercings, so I guess a belt wouldn't be a stretch.

Fauns on the planet Erit come from all kinds of hoofed animals! The caprivid (goat) fauns were the first, but the planet's natural magic working on them over time made all kinds! Like this hippo faun here. His name is Bustopher Dandelion.

These four guys. <3 I just really love the characters I created for Bestiary. I love writing in strong character voice and figuring out what little things set one apart from another in the narrative. I love character-driven stories and figuring out how their relationships drive the plot!
