The more time I spend around other cats, the more I realize how very un-cat-like Nux is. He must be some sort of Goblin. Some small, vaguely humanoid, creature in cat form.

This week is a trial run to see if this kitten will be Nux's new bff, or if I'll be driving 10-12 hours back to the rescue next weekend. Nux was so excited to meet him. They played and played...but then he didn't go home & Nux was like >:( Now he's being rude, because he doesn't wanna share.

One of Jim's other great skills is sneezing. This is Jim, about 1/3 of the way through one of his sneezes, which are always explosive and, like him, large. This particular sneeze was not detonated in Jim's ideal sneeze environment, which is when he has his face under four inches from mine.

Funny story, when I wandered England at 19, I made fast friends with a guy named Max - Max had an American father, so he had an American accent, but more importantly, Max wore Carhartt t-shirts. I told him it made him look Alaskan. He thought it was a German brand, Google proved him wrong

I hope they're comfy!! I once was seduced by the pockets of Carhartt leggings, but holy shit they were uncomfortable and awful. Thus, I was spared from becoming a true Alaskan
