The more time I spend around other cats, the more I realize how very un-cat-like Nux is. He must be some sort of Goblin. Some small, vaguely humanoid, creature in cat form.

This week is a trial run to see if this kitten will be Nux's new bff, or if I'll be driving 10-12 hours back to the rescue next weekend. Nux was so excited to meet him. They played and played...but then he didn't go home & Nux was like >:( Now he's being rude, because he doesn't wanna share.

One of Jim's other great skills is sneezing. This is Jim, about 1/3 of the way through one of his sneezes, which are always explosive and, like him, large. This particular sneeze was not detonated in Jim's ideal sneeze environment, which is when he has his face under four inches from mine.

This little guy, in 1 fucking try, learned that if he politely taps my arm and meows once, he will receive the treat he is requesting. He did it ONCE, and I was like, hell yeah this is a cute behavior I will be totally fine with rewarding, and he now does it EACH time he wants something. So smart.
