Thinking hope IT operations completely changed in the last 20 years while programming was a bit more static Deployment of code changed but the programming itself has been IDE plus version control for a while Now programming has got that huge change. Except they got it in 2-3 years instead of 15-20

So we have some internal command line tools at work we want AI to be able to run (on desktop) But some commands are dangerous so got AI to write a wrapper to discourage the dangerous commands from being run But the code-scanning security AI says wrapper isn't watertight (we know)

So the Tolkien Society is doing two conferences next year. It's usual Oxonmoot (I just attended 2926 remotely) and "Tolkien 2027" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Silmarillion. Exact the are one month apart so pretty hard to attend both if you're outside the UK/EU

My project to use the Auckland Transport API seems to be mostly working. This output that shows buses due to arrive at your stop and is supposed. In "pretty" mode so it looks a bit like one of the physical boards

Funny. Spent a day teaching AI how to create a change ticket. Got a big skill file with all the details. I try it on a live incident and it produces a crap look ticket. I say "Hey, you missed a bunch of stuff, it should look like this ticket XXX-123" It fixes ticket. Looks great
