Happy to say that The Room VR: A Dark Matter by @fireproofgames.com works absolutely fine natively on the Steam Frame.

Slothdude @slothdude.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

@jpahonen.bsky.social I figured out a way to watch the Belzebubs 360 Hexperience on my brand new Steam Frame. Thanks to the higher screen resolution than on my old Vive Pro, I was able to finally read the set list properly, typos and all. “Blackened Caw”…

The Belzebubs animation truly has to be seen to be believed. @jpahonen.bsky.social and the crew have knocked it out the park. I got a volume alert on my watch from laughing so loud.

A "complete the minotaur" drawing activity I did for the kids at my nephew's birthday party back in 2022. Handed out blanks of the headless version and then showed them how to draw the head using a little whiteboard.

I am hoping for a scene where the characters are actually speaking English, with the accent, and all those arm chair critics going “oh, oh..!”

An amazing piece of technology that almost the entire technology reporting field seems to actively want to fail because they don’t understand it or have immediate personal use for. Meanwhile, it’s being used in surgeries, movie editing, and all sorts of actual pro workflows…

It always feels weird to “like” other people’s memories of their loved ones, especially when there obviously are deeply personal and sometimes painful stories behind them. It’s such an inadequate a reaction. But I appreciate the shared glimpses of humanity.

Never mind the impossible. The characters’ *hair* moving and having inertia! I can’t fathom the amount of work needed for that.

I’m not much of a musical fan myself, but your absolutely relentless love for both of these shows finally made me check them out recently, and I thank you for it. The Hazbin Hotel season 2 soundtrack even surpassed the one of KPop Demon Hunters in number of plays at my household.

After finishing Ghost Town, I decided to play all four The Room games on my iPad again. It’s fun seeing all the small detail links between the games, such as the figurehead of a ship, or very familiar looking Tarot cards. Guess I will have to play A Dark Matter again, too. For the third time…

Playing Ghost Town on SteamVR. It looks and feels very much like The Room VR, but with more expansive settings and an option for free movement. This is a good thing. I keep wishing I could reach for the eye piece, though.

More stories forthcoming but in the meantime, here's a new header for the shorts (sherdenpact.neocities.org/Shorts) showing the Logisticians At Work, typical scene in the Sanguinary Utnapishtim. Working hard or hardly working am I right!? (Ty to @ciaraioch.bsky.social for making this, she's great!)

Cartoon of sinister cultists in hooded robes and Khornite sygils working in a mundane office setting, complete with cubicles, water cooler, and motivational posters. The scene humorously mixes dark, violent themes with the banality of corporate life, creating a parody of office culture
