Yes 100%. A public statement that UKGE does not support genAI, clear labelling of tables, and a requirement to declare genAI usage when booking a stand/promo. An asterix on the programme would be good too. This is so short-sighted of them.

Incredibly disappointing from UKGE and I really hope they think about how many artists, writers, designers, and creators are against the use of AI in the industry, and WHY. Promoting games and products that use it is pretty poor, but deleting the comments of those pointing it out is insulting.

If you find the idea of safe words and specific tools at the gaming table embarrassing or awkward, why not try these phrases that serve the same purpose but with slightly more social flexibility? You’ve probably been using them for years already. If they don’t work for you, you can use the tools as described.

Miller would be great for a bit of inter-peasantry strife. A more general vagabond (like a returning soldier or an escaped villein trying to hide in the town for their year) maybe? Also a distinction between villeins and freemen in the farmers maybe? Pilgrim?

Not often when my old civil service self and my weird little rpg business self align quite so clearly. As well as being evil, this transphobes' code is completely impractical. It's incompatible with both human rights law and GDPR. We can't physically enforce it (and we wouldn't if we could).

So glad I quit teaching so I don't have to quit teaching again (or get sacked). Teachers were nervous talking about trans issues with the last set of guidance - only the best of them will be helping trans kids now. It is absolutely section 28.

The world isn't silent on Gaza - this is by far the most vocal I have seen the general public on a political issue in my lifetime. I have also never seen a bigger difference between the anger of the public and the inaction of specific institutions and governments. That's the crucial disconnect.
