I think when people talk about how much they miss “the Zelda formula”, they just mean they miss dungeons and unique items. ‘Cause the structure of most 3D Zelda stories really leaves a lot to be desired, IMO. Don’t love having to go through three whole dungeons for a whole *one* story beat!

game theory and fnaf have lowkey poisoned the media analysis skills of people my age. it shouldn't be a huge deal if you can predict how a story is going to develop over time based on context clues and themes. if you can do that it means the writer did a good job
