I spent my day running around with my cousin who got arrested by ICE, ferrying him from one lawyer to another. I felt so powerless, I completely understand

It's officially pumpkin season, which happens to be a special treat for our ambassador wolves this time of year! 🎃🐺 Although wolves are classified as carnivores, they can sometimes have an omnivorous diet. Along with meat and eggs, wolves may also enjoy fruits like pumpkins. #wolffact

if I could give one piece of advice to newly transitioning trans people, I wouldn't make it about choosing a name or how to present yourself I would say: don't treat life like something that happens to you don't treat the world like content you consume make things happen create your life

But I'm sure I can learn. You can always do something about the cold, you can only take off so many layers in the heat.

Sledge-Allie Rivas @sledgebot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I couldn't say honestly. Coldest I've been was in Nashville on New Year's. Dropped to -10, but I just have no real experience with living in prolonged cold like that. Where I live it never drops below like, 50.

I was browsing these like, funds other dolls put together to help people escape to safe states. But they're all PNW, like Portland/Seattle. I just want to live somewhere I feel I can have irl community.

This kinda makes me wanna cry a lil, in a good way. I guess it's just daydreams for now, but I really want to leave here very badly. I just wanna start over. I know it's on the great lakes but it's hard to imagine living somewhere not coastal. I've been by the sea my whole life.

Sledge-Allie Rivas @sledgebot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I mean I suppose I want to be sold on it. I'm from Florida, and I love traveling pretty much because we don't have seasons down here. So the winter cold is a plus if anything.

FIRSTLY as the piece alludes: Loren Rex Cameron’s also-trans and arguably more famous older sister, Cameron, was a I believe fully stealth working model and actress (a la plot of Pose) in the 80s and 90s mostly … I rewatched like I dunno, dozens of TNG episodes, where she appeared as Ensign Kellogg:
