Fucked up that now the most convenient way of playing Panel de Pon, online with friends as well, is by the new Class of '09 game. It's a lot better than I thought it would be other than a few mechanical quirks being different from Pokemon Puzzle League, the game it's blatantly copying (compliment).

As much as I do love Celeste, there's definitely a bit of childhood-like wonder and amazement that flares up in me seeing new Jumper stuff from how drastically it changed my taste in gaming way back when. And I'm definitely excited to get another game that can attempt to make me feel that way again.

Finished up Kingdoms of the Dump. One of those games that's decently fun, moderately enjoyable, but ultimately doesn't do much to make it stand out all that much. I don't regret my time with it, but I doubt I'll ever go back to it.

Really playing this does just remind me how much I enjoy the general Persona structure and really wish we'd get a Persona 6 any time soon. Even if I do still have Metaphor hanging out in my backlog lol. We also don't need a conclusion to the Persona 3 plot since this game did that for me already!

Well, it was nice while it lasted.

A series of uploads of my let's play for Shin Megami Tensei Rata2ouille: The Perfect Dish. For a while there was a long string of partially blocked visibility due to copyright content, before having a short string of 3 videos where there were no visibility blocking, before once again being visibility blocked on the most recent video.

Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass's console port is out now and boy howdy should anyone who likes RPGs play it. Basically cannot stress enough how good and fun and creative it is when you start getting into the nitty gritty of its story and gameplay.

Battle system is mostly the same, if anything improves it over CSH it's that you don't spend the first 5 hours of the game with 1-2 person parties against 5 enemy mobs so you have terrible action economy. Story of This Way Madness Lies is just a non-serious comedy, so don't expect much from it.

Only took me 213 hours but I have finally accomplished 100% item collection in Distorted Travesty 4. What a wonderful and nightmarish game. Now I just gotta do the final boss grinds and who knows how many tens of hours that will take.

Oh yeah, the two main annoyances are with word changing/segmenting ones which are definitely fairly easy compared to Only Connect, and pop culture ones which kill anyone who doesn't keep up on pop culture in the US lol.

Lyle in Cube Sector, dang. That is definitely a deep cut. Kind of a stretch, but I'll throw Crystal Towers 2 in here. It's not exactly a traditional Metroidvania but you do unlock access to new stages by learning new spells that let you interact with the environment or give new mobility options.

A list of the top sellers on Steam are during the 2025 Summer Sale. Most games are ignored, except for PEAK and Clair Obscur due to it being in my library. Among the ignored are Dead by Daylight, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Dune Awakening, and Baldur's Gate 3.
