The annoying part about being a minority asking not to be discriminated against is that everyone else reacts like you're asking for special treatment. "Please don't call me a slur." "GOD you people want everyone to cater to you!!" Genuinely maddening.

Oh he’s a super idiot. Gets asked for disclosure (reasonable journalistic integrity) and he calls the guy a moron. So we know you have no morals now. His last tweet is just fucking stupid. Man is a delusional techbro detached from reality. Call me when the GPT tokens are no longer discounted. :)

James O'Malley @jamesomalley.co.uk

Response:

Full disclosure: I have deals with Apple, Google, OpenAl, Adobe and a bunch of others.
Unfortunately the deal is that 1 pay them a monthly fee in exchange for their services.

Question:

Which large tech companies do you have deals with or have been paid by? Do you mind disclosing that?

Starting a 5 post thread starting with this and ending with "we need to build data centers" is making me want to know the answer.

James O'Malley @jamesomalley.co.uk

(I actually blanked out that moron's name using,
'Photocraft', the rebuild of Photoshop - gaussian blur didn't work and it felt a bit wonky, but given this software has been available for like, 24 hours, it feels like it will rapidly improve.)

Yes, the critics are correct, the open source rebuilds that were made in days are buggy and a bit broken at present.

I'm sure this criticism will age about as well as
"the people have six fingers"

Two things: 1. They used Claude Code entirely. 2. God I’m so sick of journalists just not even doing the most basic ass research at all. LLMs are not a guarantee of “clean room”, this absolutely violates copyright.

Picture of one of the repositories, as you can see it’s done entirely via Claude code.

The number one contributor on the repo is Claude.

there is so much going on here

I think one of the funniest abortion stances I've heard was from my parents neighbor. He's a like, hard-core libertarian viking larper guy who is very tall and very fat and very bald.
He believes a fetus is human with a soul, but also its "basically attacking the woman's body" so if she wants to get rid of it, that's "basically self-defense".
He compared it to shooting a home invader. So he supports abortion not as healthcare, but as killing a baby in self-defense

Y'know I'm so glad someone reminded me of this. Because this was also discussed.
#that's so funny
#what does he think when someone wants to keep a baby
My stepmother did NOT like the way her Libertarian Viking Neighbor framed pregnancy as the fetus "attacking the woman". She incredulously told him this was extremely disrespectful to expectant mothers to portray pregnancy as so violent and negative.
Libertarian Viking Neighbor's response was that people consensually hurt each other all the time, and "there's like a whole community about that, with the acronym the one that starts with a B" And his reasoning was that if the mother was consenting to bring attacked by the baby, it in fact wasn't violent and negative because there was consent.

He brought up people consensually hurting each other, didn't go for one of the obvious answers like boxing or body mods or something, no he went STRAIGHT TO BDSM and he DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER THE ACRONYM

If he's a Viking larper and believes it's self defense against the attacking baby does that mean the baby gets to go to Valhalla if it's aborted
