Today I learned that volunteers on an island near Vancouver decide to just buy tons of efficient heat pumps, unlocking big bulk discounts, and help their neighbors install them. They've done 1,100 of the 3,000 homes on Gabriola Island, BC! How cool is that?! 🤯🔥👠

1/ I don't believe in the AI data centre claims that a closed-loop glycol system is the solution to water consumption. Why? I worked in a facility with a closed-loop glycol system used to keep coolers & liquid at about 4C. It regularly struggled when temps hit +30C, (EVERY fucking summer).

MRIs public only system in 2015 - Average wait time of 55 days MRIs in 2026, 12 years after Brad Wall and the Sask Party privatized them with a 2 for 1 private profit scheme - doctors tell patients it will be a year. I waited 335 days. Damage is likely permanent. Thank you Brad and the Sask Party
