I have been a Chase Freedom Card member for almost 20 years. It was my very first credit card. I got it after I graduated college. And after 20 years out of nowhere, #ChaseBank increases my APR with the explanation of, “Because we can!” This is exploitative.

Someone with a combined household of less than $150k a year? If these billion-dollar industries don’t have to pay, why should I?

My love for Seattle and Chicago is like a Christmas Hallmark movie. Seattle is the rich boyfriend I made after graduation, and Chicago is my first love that I end up with at the end of the movie. And I will spend the whole “film” (my life 😄) going back and forth agonizing over which one I love more❤️

I’d personally like to thank the AAVE language for the phrase, “drop the lore,” as it has been the most accurate way to summarize to my niece the importance of her history class as a way to catch her up on the course of human events that she missed while in a state of non-existence.
