(I made a garden this year behind my apartment's dumpster with found seeds. I just threw down some papaya seeds and a 10-foot tree grew! Mostly, though, I got a bunch of green beans from planting dried black beans from groceries.) @blackforager.bsky.social on YouTube teaches how to forage.

If someone is unhoused, hungry & steals a piece of bread plz forgive them. They already can’t buy hot food & have no kitchen. If they somehow don’t qualify, or had their paperwork trashed in a sweep, remember their plight. The laws weren’t written to protect the poorest amongst us. Especially today.

My sister almost lost hers recently! They were wondering why she hasn’t worked in 25 years. Maybe the fact that she is 78 years old, had cancer twice and needs orthopedic surgery that medicare doesn’t cover answers that question‼️😡
