Cuba is still under embargo not just because it’s communist, which is not for America to decide, but because Fidel Castro called America out and it hurt their reputation as a free country. He highlighted Jim Crow and racism in America and its crimes in Latin America. The US wanted him dead for that.

As a trans woman I been violated by hospital staff while in and out of consciousness. Rejected by doctors and nurses who saw me as unworthy of care. Kicked out of shelters. Refused bathrooms and showers. Food poisoned. And suffered beatings. Why would I go through all this just to win a stupid game?

As far as I’m concerned, every single person who believes that trans people should have less rights are a threat to freedom and a peaceful society. I consider them enemies of liberty and justice. American courts are so corrupt that you have a better chance of getting justice in the streets than you do in court. They can tell you violence is always wrong but they haven’t made the case for peace. Without justice, peace itself is a form of violence, as it’s become a tool for oppression.
