The council moved the planters from the road side of the kerb to the side near the shop. I just spent 10 minutes conspicuously standing on the footpath to prevent someone parking 4 wheels up on the pavement, which is what the planters used to do. #dublin #footpathparking #activetravel
A footpath on a residential street at night. There are two planter boxes up against the pulled-down shutters of a local business.

I'm not looking to set up a dissident republican group but if I were I would be trying to sell my comrades on "New & Improved IRA", "Classic IRA", or maybe "IRA with bits"

While broadly agreeing with you and no blaming the employees. It seems like some people's rules of work are hilariously out of date. Our local recycling center is entirely closed because they're working to rule and I'd kind of expected running the recycling centre being part of their jobs.

Remember it's absolutely shocking scumbag behaviour to cycle on the footpath. Unless of course the council paint a line down the middle of the footpath in which case it's absolutely shocking scumbag behaviour to no cycle on the footpath

As soon as Labour even hinted at rejoining the 'political powerhouses' like Blair started talking about the changes the EU would need to make. They're not a serious country at this point

No doubt it's not just Munster at this. But the Munster belief they could 'passion' themselves to another European Cup victory has set them back at least a decade.

Interesting new site offering Leinster coverage for a 5er a month. Not too expensive but with zero free articles and plenty of of alternatives not sure why I'd take the plunge without at least been offered a taste?

Jesus Christ this sounds terrible. These teams aren't good enough all you're doing is adding a pointless song and dancing not playing any of the 'top' teams before they get hammered in a quarter final. Reducing the number of games against top teams from 5 to 1! www.rte.ie/sport/hurlin...

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

Was refused entry to the Ladies FAI cup final for ‘trying to make a political statement’ by wearing this jersey. Had to get the wonderful Shelbourne club SLO John Brennan to sort it out. Incase anyone was worried if the FAI couldn’t embarrass themselves any further.
