In Hereford Cathedral, which is heaving. The nave is closed off for a few hours for an event, so the Saturday tourists are piling in the open bits. Thankfully there's enough nooks and crannies to get respite from the masses.

Pubs and restaurants should offer a slab of cheese as an alternative to steaks and chops. I should be able to order cheese and chips, with peas, and get options for how much cheese I want. On most days 250g of Shropshire Blue would make me very happy.

I work at a library that still issues fines to kids and teens for late books. I don't fine them. Because it's ridiculous to give a child a negative experience of books, & equally ridiculous to punish students for working hard. I always make the fines disappear from their account.
