I can't believe the predator in Predator: Badlands (2025) looks directly into the camera and tells the audience that the two android women are SISTERS, NOT lesbians. They practically broke the fourth wall to "no homo" the androids lmao

I've been toying with the idea for fic that a portion of her community in Westfall looks out for her in some way. VanCleef's execution radicalized a bunch of folks who weren't on board with what the Defias were trying to achieve and supporting her is kind of their way of making it up to him.

Orweyna goes whooo, but sometimes, when no one's looking, I imagine she goes WHEEEE! #worldofwarcraft #wowfanart

Orweyna from World of Warcraft. She has her arms outstretched and a big smile in joy. She is mounted on a bright green potatoad that is running with its tongue lolling out.

Vanessa moves away from them to try and keep them safer as she becomes more active, but they still come over to her little shack regularly to help her with repairs and bring her food

120

silriven @silriven.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Mrs. and Mr. Saldian are still pestering her like "are you getting enough to eat? are you getting enough sleep? can't plot revolution on an empty stomach, tired makes stupid" etc.

120

silriven @silriven.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Genuinely never really thought about what her present-day relationship to the Saldians would be, if they ever knew who she was and were actually "in" on it, which would make a lot of sense. It's good food for thought for future fanfic

120

silriven @silriven.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

There's actually some interesting Lore™️ tucked away in her lines: "I will avenge my father. But the Saldians are my parents too." She even has a VanCleef interaction: "Father, I... I hope you're proud of me." 🥲 hearthstone.wiki.gg/wiki/Battleg...

Assuming all fanfiction is written poorly really just shows you've never been caught in the chokehold of a 150k slowburn that changed the course of your life at 2:40am written by someone whose username has 4 Zs in it and they only wrote one fic and then vanished like an ethereal legend.

You get a game where the guiding message of the story is to let go of tradition to progress your society, that forms of magic are not inherently evil and then you also get a guy whos a villain because he wants to let go of tradition to progress and uses a form of magic thats evil

I would also make gleeful callbacks to the moment when Wrathion gets punched in the face. A lot. Which, incredibly, also happened lol

Wrathion getting hit in the face by a rock in a cinematic from World of Warcraft: Dragonflight which was a moment celebrated by tessduin fans on social media.

Screenshot of the tooltip from a spell in the Dragonflight PTR which allowed the Champion to punch drunk, teenage Wrathion in a quest. This was the only way to proceed with the quest. His bodyguards did nothing and watched you do it.

030

silriven @silriven.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

...so seeing it play out in the actual canon is wild, accidentally or not that's what happened lol. like if I was a mean spirited Tess/Anduin or Taelia/Anduin shipper, then Dragonflight!Wrathion is pretty much how I would've written Wrathion while making my character of choice a queen in a fic

160

silriven @silriven.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

it's like a gross, well-known thing for fans of a rival ship to caricature or villainize the other partner out of spite and communities tend to ding m/m shippers for it more which is kind of why I and other wranduin shippers were careful and respectful if/when we included Tess or Taelia in stuff...

150

silriven @silriven.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

lrt: man seeing Tess get elevated to Queen and stand shoulder to shoulder with other important leaders like this after Dragonflight bent over backwards to make Wrathion an inappropriate choice for Aspect really just is more salt in the wound, isn’t it

Had a LOT of fun designing these Ivy and Harley costumes for Poison Ivy in Briarwood (coming out this November of DC Go!) #art 🌹✨

Costume designs for Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, in the upcoming Poison Ivy in Briarwood DC Go webcomic.
Ivy: Dressed a 'medieval' green witch dress, with flowing long skirt layers and billowing half-sleeves. She wears an off the shoulder blouse below a corset top. Her red hair is long and partially tied back with braids.
Harley: Wearing a venetian jester outfit reminiscent of her classic suit, with long hat jangles, a ruffled collar and skirt, and puffy sleeves. the outfit is patterned with stripes and checkerboard all in black, red, and white. she has a small black diamond painted underneath each eye.

idk I'm mostly on here to be social, to chat and keep up with friends, and I also like that I can limit replies to my posts. I try to remember to keep my tumblr up to date when I have art and fics to share, though.
