Dude, this is genuinely so fucking disappointing. Nearly all of the commits I’ve seen for PPSSPP involve generative AI from Claude in the past week alone, and their entire newest dev blog is almost entirely written by Claude. Almost half of the commits in the past 3 months use Claude for AI code.

Yeah, maybe trying to encapsulate a ton of THOUGHTS about altstream in a 300 character post was never going to work considering this is uh... 3800 words... voidfox.com/blog/so_i_lo...

So I Looked at altstream.online

Prettied up my @altstream.online profile. Just in case I decide to use it for guerilla streams.

Translation patches aren't a fucking checklist for flag planting. Demands for "fluency" and "technical chops" aren't gatekeeping. Anyone who learns the skills is welcome to contribute. If you bypass them, you're just having a tantrum at the expense of the original devs and foreign players. Piss off.

Why not, you know? Need to render out some new profile image and a banner, but it's a start.

PSA: be careful streaming any Konami games on Twitch going forward. AFAIK they put a bunch of their music on Spotify and/or some other services, and people are getting absolutely blasted with VOD mutes (meaning large sections of past broadcasts will have no audio *at all*)

"appeal muted audio" page on Twitch, showing a large number of claims for Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin's soundtrack

What if I told you there was a streaming platform that is Anti-AI, Anti-Ads, and easy to use? I've been multi-streaming on @altstream.online and it's SICK. It's customizable and has built in features like BSKY alerts! First 1,000 people get Beta access to new stuff.

The totally normal kind of comments you get when you call the guy who openly draws KKK-inspired art a racist. I guess my avatar is so cute someone thought I was trans? Anyway, shit like this is why I keep running events for TransLifeline.

A YouTube comment saying ""racist artist" Rope. Stool. 51%. You will never be a real woman."

Recreated an outfit I made a long time ago I lost in The Great HDD crash. Still trying to get the hang of materials in DAZ Studio and my renders are still trash. I only made the blouse and skirt. It was also mostly an experiment as I learn my way around Blender's sculpting tools.

DAZ Studio render of a woman in a blouse, skirt, and peeptoe boots.

Had to cut stream early as the connection to Joystick was unstable. I'll try again tomorrow with more spicy arcade (and maybe console!) games.

Productive stream. Got another no-miss 1CC of arcade Dragon Unit, cleared Sword Master, Shadowgate, and Strider (all NES. Almost did Strider deathless, but I misstep caused me to run right into Matic and get generated.) Probably will be back later on Joystick for "Games too spicy for Twitch"

I am so fucking tired of buying a can opener and it breaking after a few uses. Can openers used to last lifetimes, but greed has ruined everything.

Outstanding history lesson on the Speedrun journey Bloodlines has been on for the past 20 years, especially highlighting the early groundwork laid by Stanski and the incredible TAS done by Truncated and Vandal. Definitely give it a watch if you've ever enjoyed CV speedruns.

I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

I will never knowingly stream a game that uses GenAI/LLM content. I've been offered review copies of such games on two occasions and rejected both of them I do not knowingly use GenAI in my workflow I am, however, bad at spotting undisclosed AI. If I fuck up, please point it out and I'll get rid!
