Online shops developed this weird habit of starting followup emails asking for a rating with stuff like "...it's us again". I just got one of those again and I don't think it's great PR to write emails that sound like I didn't reply to your DMs? I'm expecting "Whatever, you're ugly anyway!" next

Me, having grown up with German fairy tales: "That's a normal age appropriate story! What do you mean you don't read your kids bedtime stories about two annoying boys getting crushed between millstones and fed to the ducks and all the adults celebrate that they're dead?"

We need to ban action movies. Not because of violence but because the military guy getting something impossible after yelling enough at the tech guy who told him no gives people in sales and middle management ideas.

Everytime a story has an extinct civilisation with tech they're still using but don't know how to make or fix anymore once it breaks I think "This is just like the Playstation 3!"

Reminder that Discord lets you use emotes from Twitch subs cross server without Nitro. So the ultimate hater move against Discord is: Become Twitch affiliate -which gives you a free Tier 3 sub to yourself- make a Discord server, connect it to Twitch, use your own sub emotes for free everywhere.

I said it before but the For You feed really does not work if you follow people with more than one interest because it shows you what "people who liked the same thing as you also liked" and if you and the other train guy liked a train but he also liked pictures of car crashes you get car crashes.

I'm going to blocklist the term "no one is talking about" because everytime it's by Americans about news 5 minutes after it came out, there are 25 more of them on the timeline so obviously people are talking about it and the news came out at bloody 1 A.M. in Europe.

I keep wondering what happened when people first switched to Bluesky because I first thought "oh it's just so quiet around me because people either didn't make an account here or abandoned it after a month. They're probably posting on Twitter" but their Discord servers all "died" at the same time.

The best part of being an artist is that you can just draw whatever dumb idea comes to your head at 1am

A scene parodying the Neon Genesis Evangelion scene of Asuka and her Eva unit getting pierced by the spear of longinus. In this scene, Linguini and Remy from Pixar's Ratatouille take the place of the EVA unit and Asuka respectively. Linguinis eye is pierced by a fork version of the spear and Remy is depicted in an inset where he is grabbing his eye and screaming like the anime. There are anime subtitles at the bottom that say "AHHHHHHHHH!"

I keep thinking my PC is fairly new because I've ship of theseused the hell out of it and also remember replacing the motherboard once. See a review for the board: "What do you mean 2019? Yes DDR5 came out a year after I built it but that was 3 years ago, right? DDR5 is new! Oh... oh no"

I usually don't post about skincare but... what do you MEAN Biorè changed their line-up? They merged the sunscreen and the moisturizer? There are two cleansers, one is a foam and one has charcoal. Still has the willow bark component (salicylic acid) just doesn't call it willow bark anymore.

It is still so goddamn weird that your follower counter does not go down when you block someone on this site. Half of that number by now has to be "pre-debut vtubers" who post nothing but commission scams.

Sadly they didn't post it in bsky but ALL OF THIS! Just don't do it unless told it is ok.

Post by Pomatomaster on Twitter:

In light of the recent news, this is your reminder to NOT go into streamers chats and announce celebrity deaths unless they have EXPLICITLY stated that they are ok with that.

You are putting streamers in a position where they have to process that info live, which can be brutal and risks throwing off the entire rest of stream.

One of the many issues that came from my Xenoblade comic shitpost era is now I have images like this I made for some reason that I no longer remember why

a photoshop image of a park with a grill, in the front I pasted the official art for Rex from Xenoblade chronicles future redeemed, but I removed the two swords and now he has two giant chicken legs.

Like seriously. There are so many images like this saved into my xenoblade folder and I just ????? the title doesn't help it's just saved as double grilling legs.

My sister has shown me a capsule toy machine in our neighbourhood that's still being refilled and the funny thing is that if I see something that costs money and I haven't seen in decades I usually think about what this cost before we had Euro in Germany. So the price in Mark. Not this time!
