One video I’m working on is like 60% of the way finished scripting the first draft and it’s already at least two and a half hours

Niche as hell subject matter but! Went to see the Beetlejuice musical a few weeks ago and it ruled. 🪲🪲🪲I love death, neon lights and small scale interior pyrotechnics....there's even a snake... #BeetlejuiceMusical

A digital illustration of the main cast of the Beetlejuice musical, drawn in shades of purple and green. At the base of the canvas, Lydia, Charles and Delia are lit up by the Handbook for the recently deceased, which spills out smoke and neon green light. Above them the Maitlands hover anxiously, looking over their shoulders in horror at the door opening from thin air behind them. Bursting out of the open door is Beetlejuice and several overextended striped suit wearing arms, which curl round the door towards the humans below.

My word count estimations show that it’s already past double the length of the Amphibia video. I might need an intervention

Now that I can finally talk about montages and people will know what I’m talking about, I have to admit that I love Batman Caped Crusader’s tonal montage for it’s title sequence

Sid @sidsvidsyt.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I had no idea what this waveform was and then it really got me cause it was just me laughing maniacally

Sid @sidsvidsyt.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I accidentally deleted the montages video This sucks. New one (exactly the same as the old one) going up in like 10-ish minutes

istg if there’s one thing I learned about game companies it’s to never get acquired, never go public, don’t ever sell out. It always ends with “-and then the parent company fired everyone working there and locked the IPs in a vault” Obviously cataclysmic rn but this shit is as tale as old as time

"Death of the author" is a literary theory that emphasizes the personal interaction and connection to an artistic work over the concept of an authorial ultimate meaning. "Separate the art from the artist" is a catchphrase to mumble to yourself so you can justify buying more Harry Potter shit.

Just realised the stars that were supposed to be in the background of all my videos aren’t there! And I only found out AFTER I cleaned my computer screen! Turns out, those weren’t stars, they were DUST PARTICLES. Oh these five videos are locked in the internet without stars forever

Some bts on the next upcoming video I was working on it and had ten seconds leeway for end cards which usually needs a minimum of five seconds. I was like great perfect One section wasn’t paced well so I was nervous it was going to shorten the time and it wouldn’t be a clean number

As a person who works in animation, whenever I talk to someone working in video games, the conversation always basically goes like: "I'm so sorry for what's happening to you.." "No I'M sorry for what's happening to YOU!" "no YOU have it SO MUCH WORSE" "DON'T YOU DARE say that, YOU have it HORRIBLE"

women were kept out of meetings and career opportunities at Pixar because John Lasseter was so much of a sex pest that people decided it was easier to simply not have them in the room with him how many talented women didn’t get a fair chance because one guy couldn’t behave himself?
