The possibility that Josh Simons could be close to Andy Burnham's government raises some very serious questions. Should a man who waged factional warfare, spied on journalists and then resigned in disgrace really be at the centre of Government? Feels very Starmer 2.0

Oh Gods. Ski yoghurts were the worst. I don't think they've improved much. 😬 It's odd how little I can tolerate when it comes to whipped cream. We could never work out why whipped cream and nothing else. I think it's a texture thing because it doesn't make me feel ill, I just don't enjoy it.

Cream. Especially whipped cream. I can't remember a time when I didn't like the stuff. I love milk, yoghurt, cheese, and other milk products, though. So it's not an allergy issue. Possibly the list contains other foodstuff, but the big one that stands out to me is cream. 🤢

Ice cube machine has arrived. It's sitting for an hour to let the coolant settle, then it will be set onto the cleaning setting before we can use it. It all seems simple enough. Plus, buying early in the summer means we can use it to its maximum benefit. Even adding ice cubes to soda helps. 🧊

Heading for the hills? There will be some great views today but it's still worth checking the forecast. Always check our mountain forecast before heading off bit.ly/3EPIwye

Stay safe in the hills and mountains
Check the weather
Plan your route
Pack the right gear for the trip
Let someone know your plans
In and emergency call 999, ask for 'Police' then 'Mountain Rescue'

Conditions up in the hills are often very different to down in the valleys

Our mountain safety partners encourage you to #BeAdventureSmart by following their tips before you head out.

Once in the hills, be flexible with your plans, keep an eye on the weather and be prepared to turn back if the conditions change. The hills will be there for you another day.

This morning Toni was the one demanding cuddles. She finally curled up on the pillow. The morning carers were convinced she would not like the bed moving - at all. I told them she'd used the bed as a Cat Carnival Ride in the past. Sure 2/

Last night one of the carers was male. Mini-Me hates strange men. But kitty stayed. Mini-Me didn't rush off in terror and remained in the room. Mini-Me was a little nervous, but he stayed in the windowsill the whole time, and only moved once Toni came out from her spot under the bed for cuddles. 1/

Shropshire is full of diverse farming. Those farmers often saw the need ahead of the large conglomerates, who were regularly left behind because of the local geography/geology, areas of special scientific interest, and other measures Shropshire has implemented. This would be the ideal example. ❤️

Tired, sore, and trying to sort out odd areas of the room so it works better. Given I couldn't even roll over in bed and position myself in the bed, or sit up on the side of the bed without help before, just managing to do those two activities is a massive achievement. I'm also not as out of breath.

Medically fit to be kicked outta here. Finally. Now it's down to the Occupational Therapist and the Care Team to get their respective ducks in a row. Once those things are in place, then home awaits. A few tweaks here and there on medication, including uping the one they unexpectedly cut last year.
