It's funny how when I was told I will have a 4 week sick leave after my surgery I was like oh neat but surely it's not like I'll really be feeling bad all that time right? Nope. Almost 2 weeks in, I was very wrong. This shit SUCKS and I'm extremely glad to not have to work thru it lol

I'm a bit over halfway to getting all perfects in rhythm heaven groove now but funnily enough by now I can basically predict my skill level per attempt (unless it's a game I dislike) because I literally just perfected 3 games in a row with the following "formula":

watched hbomberguys' adobe video on patreon and boy did it make me feel things and overthink a lot of stuff as one of the poor souls forced to be in the adobe purgatory and refusing to switch to others BUT finishing it made me feel some sort of hope in the sense of FOSS options. maybe someday.

Well, I feel vindicated today. Years after my IBS diagnosis, my surgery today has indeed confirmed that I just had endometriosis this whole time. (and thankfully now it's been cut out wheeee)

Most days I don't really think of my mom's death as anything that I'm particularly bummed in terms of practicality but also at the moment I'm doing stuff that I know my mom would have been a GREAT source of advice and wisdom and it's a bit like. Ah. Well. I suppose this is the One Thing.

I wish I could say I'm blaming jet lag for the fact that for the last three nights I've slept 5 hours, 12 hours and 5 hours respectively, but to be honest I think I'm just having a bad time w my brain not shutting up at night since I got home. We'll see how the next night will go I suppose LOL
