Do you have burning eyes from the smoke? Remaining inside in air-conditioned enviro is helpful but about half outdoor smoke particulates can penetrate typical indoor spaces. Tighter-built homes have much less outdoor air while drafty houses or those w/ open windows more closely represent outdoors.
