Yep. Not a FB user, my partner is—everything I buy weirdly shows up as an advert of her FB. Anything she talks about, next thing it’s in her feed as an advert.

Aerial PARTIAL view of the anti racist, anti fascist crowd in Belfast right now. City Hall to the left for scale. This - this is the real Belfast. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Sad & terrifying. Feels very Black Mirror. Google reading your private communications & content and blending the agenda of hidden highest bidders into its responses. All via what sounds more like a gated community than the open web. As far as hallucinations go, surely this is one bad fucking trip.

Wow. This piece by @arn.is an incredibly thought-provoking analysis of the current state of the design profession, and some promising proposals for a way forward. One of the best things I’ve read in a while.

collectivefutures.blog

Design was never the bottleneck

Design knows how to make things that do not yet exist. The work ahead may be to apply that capacity to the profession's own institutional life

Haven’t actually tried this one yet—must give it a go. Seems perfect for your use case. I’ve found MCP Console great for things like token review and bulk update, etc.

This MCP will work better at performing actions in Figma. Connecting to Figma with Claude Code, which should point at your code project. For me, It did work better over time, when Claude code documented skills and workflow, etc, to follow. github.com/southleft/fi...

Am I missing functionality, or do Figma purposely make creating and managing variables/tokens tedious and so fucking annoying? I mean, no simple duplication of a group/child, no duplication of collections… Maybe less AI fanfare and more attention to improving these core features. #designsky

In my experimenting with AI, I've seen the latest breaks in workflow—coming in and out of markdown/code-block format, etc, etc… But getting your output confuddled in this context? 🫣 Not so intelligent.

Great. Now I need to inject bleach into my eyes.

A humorous image depicting two individuals dressed in matching grey outfits, styled to resemble characters from the movie "Austin Powers." The larger individual, standing behind, is holding a finger to their lips in a "shushing" gesture, while the smaller individual, strapped to the larger one's chest with a harness, has a displeased expression. The background is a plain dark teal color.
