Our dog never slept in the bed before, not because he wasn’t allowed. He just hates that we have legs and would like to move them sometimes in our sleep. I think he solved this issue by sleeping on my side of the bed while I was gone. So now I have to battle to get that back.

We are in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness halfway between Anchorage and Fairbanks and we have partially lost electricity. HVAC is down, some lights are off, bathrooms can’t flush- and they suggested we put on our coats. 😂 I hope I don’t end up on a podcast lmao.

Feeling less stressed now that I have my coat for Alaska next month. Rated for temps as low as -45° 🤢 We’re having a very windy day here and it does an amazing job cutting the wind. It’s a Responsible Down Long Puffer Jacket.

I spent way too long trying to decide on a lipstick shade at the drug store yesterday. I haven’t worn lipstick in a while and couldn’t remember what shades look best on me. Anyway, somehow I bought a lipstick that is the EXACT shade of my lips so it looks like nothing 😂

A dump truck rolled over in front of our neighbor’s house. It felt and sounded like a huge explosion. I took off running across the yards, climbed on top of the truck and pulled the door open. My 17 year old cat Gibson has a tumor in his face and it’s not going to get better. ☹️ We’re going to just keep him comfortable until he lets us know it’s his time. Weeks- maybe months. This really sucks. He’s been with me almost my whole adult life. He’s a good cat and a best friend.
