About 3 weeks ago my friend and I went to Haltern am See for kayaking. Afterwards we visited Westruper Heide. A beautiful day indeed.

As a huge Charles Dickens fan, that was my first thought when I watched the scene for the first time. Happy to see it confirmed by Yuri. - Shen.

I’m taking a much needed break from Gociety (only for a few days). The 2nd admin (they wish to stay anonymous) will monitor while I’m “away”. 🤎

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: worn-out weatherfucked doors in old garden walls are one of my favourite things in the entire world

A wonderful door in an archway in an old granite wall in rural Devon, with much of its paint peeled off, and a riot of summer foliage around it. Some dickhead had better not replace or add a fresh coat of B&Q wood paint to this or I am going over there with some dangerous people I know, and I am not fucking kidding.

Gateophilia. A passion for gates. For their seductive promises & the wildflowers growing near them. For their varying latches and shapes & designs & the satisfying clunk they make as they are closed. For the magic tunnels of light just beyond them which often seem to hint at passage a better world.

A gate at sunset in early autumn, on the edge of the village of Winkleigh, Devon, not far from where an infamous 1970s Devonshire murder-suicide took place.

A gate on the South West Coast path - which red campion flanks here, lending colourful magic to the view ahead - that I have walked through many times, always appreciating its beauty, with the possibility of the time I walked back up the cliffs from the beach barefoot and got a massive sharp chunk of wood wedged deep inside my foot (I never got it out but it kind of rotted away inside my foot, in the end, as all biodegradable things - including us - will eventually).

Beautiful reminder from @hookland.bsky.social. Breathe in the magic of today. Let it skitter through your hair, disguised as a breeze. Taste it in the juice of a summer berry. Hear it in the birdsong. Magic is everywhere you are, no grand gestures required. May all Life be blessed. ☀️

Personally, I liked GO3 and I’m happy to see so many positive posts about it now. But I also understand all those who are still struggling with the Finale and I hope that one day they'll find their way back to the fandom, bc to me Good Omens is still very much alive. Shen. 4/4

Sadly, only one of the so-called "big" fan pages have remained active, although they post quite rarely. One thing I noticed from the very start, however, is that these pages don't seem to communicate with one another at all, whether to exchange information or just to interact in general. 3/4

... the page just to gain followers. However, more than half of them have actually deleted or deactivated their accounts. Among them were a few pages I enjoyed following bc they were both entertaining and informative. 2/4

I’m usually someone who prefers to stay in the background, but after the release of Good Omens 3 and its impact on the fandom, I'd like to share a few words. The first thing I noticed was a sharp drop in followers for Gociety on IG. That isn't a bad thing in itself, since I didn't start... 1/4

Moisturised, happy, in my lane, thinking about Good Omens 3 release being basically two weeks away.

A Good Omens 2 scene from the Bentley drive to Scotland. Aziraphale looks ahead with a closed-mouth smile and a curious expression on his face.

Continuation of the previous shot. Aziraphale smiles openly now, with something softer and more focused in his eyes.
